The Casey Cares 18th Annual Galaxy Gala was an out-of-this-world night celebrating all of Casey Cares amazing programs and activities!

We celebrated our success at the American Visionary Art Museum with a sold-out crowd of 400+ guests, food, drinks, live and silent auction items, music, dancing and a few surprises.

Special thanks go to our top sponsors: The National Foundation for Affordable Housing Solutions; CohnReznick, EagleBank, Volpe Information Technology Group, Weltchek, Mallahan & Weltchek and Window Nation. Thanks also to our media sponsors: MIX 106.5, The Baltimore Sun Media Group, WTOP Radio, The Daily Record, A-ha Business Radio, Clear Channel Outdoor, Yelp Baltimore, WCBM 680 and Q1370, Downtown Diane, CITYpeek and Hide-N-Seek Entertainment.

We also want to thank Small Miracle and Tom Reyes and Friends for their musical talents and to photographers Yumi Okamoto and Rachel Duda of Duda Photography.  As usual, Atlantic Caterers did a spectacular job with our catering.

We definitely send our appreciation to Brian Wasser of Electric Events D.C. for providing A/V support, lighting and our photo booth.

Congratulations to our Champion of Children Award winners: Bob Weltchek, of Weltchek, Mallahan & Weltchek, and UMPS CARE Charities (Jennifer Skolochenko-Platt and Jennifer Jopling).

Thanks also to our fantastic emcees: WMAR Chief Meteorologist Lynette Charles and Mix 106.5 Morning Host Reagan Warfield!

Huge shout out to Noah and the Kabia family. Noah, who was diagnosed with leukemia two years ago and has been a Casey Cares program participant, rocked the house on the drums and earning a standing ovation.

Last, but certainly not least, thanks to our Gala co-chairs Bob Weltchek and Todd Travis and our fabulous Casey Cares Board of Directors for all of their continued support and hard work to make this event such a huge success!
