Casey Cares participating in Community Mitzvah Day again!

Posted: Dec 7, 2016

The Casey Cares Foundation is proud to once again partner with The Associated and the Jewish Volunteer Connection for Community Mitzvah Day, an event full of giving involving more than 1,000 volunteers from around greater Baltimore. For the second year in a row, Casey Cares will be collecting new pairs of pajamas and packaging them up to deliver to critically ill children at area hospitals as part of Mitzvah Day! In Hebrew, word "mitzvah" means "good deed," and this event is all about providing good deeds for various organizations in the community, including Casey Cares.

We need your help!

Register to volunteer at the JCC of Greater Baltimore by clicking here http://jvcbaltimore.org/volunteer-offerings/annual-events/mitzvah-day/ The event is held on December 25th from noon to 3 p.m.

Pajamas are being collected at the Welcome Desk at the JCC in Owings Mills and at the JCC's Park Heights location. In addition, various synagogues and organizations are running pajama drives. The kids and teachers at Krieger Schecter Day School are collecting pajamas for Casey Cares and are capping off their drive with a pajama day at school!

We are always in need of new pairs of pajamas (especially in infant and teen sizes). To find out how your organization can organize a pajama drive, please call us at 443-568-0064 or check out our website at http://CaseyCares.org!

We are excited to participate in this amazing event!
