Thank you to all donors, sponsors, and individuals who donated to Casey Cares for Giving Tuesday! We are excited to announce that Casey Cares raised $30,040 yesterday thanks to YOUR donations!
Giving Tuesday celebrates individuals, companies, places of worship, and more giving back to local community efforts, specifically in the nonprofit sector. Individuals set up Facebook fundriasers, donated to Casey Cares' Giving Campaign, or simply gave on our website. Thanks members of our board, donations were matched up to $12,500! Shoutout to Nick & Susan Crivella, Mark & Meg Viviano, Mike & Ellen DiMayo, Paul & Dori Capodanno, Stephen & Kim Altshuler, MaryAnn & Mark Hanson, Haleigh Forbes & John Richardson, Steven & Susan Manekin, Ben Salsbury, Gil & Marianne Kuta, and Jarrett & Kristina Bostwick! These contributions will support over 1,500 families with critically ill children throughout December and into 2024. Haliey and her siblings attended A Sesame Place's "A Very Furry Christmas!" Her mom said, “We had the most wonderful time! We spent the whole day there, Hailey loved meeting all the characters, her siblings enjoyed the rides, and the whole family enjoyed Elmo’s Christmas wish show!"
Travon, diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, just turned 11! "Travon loved his birthday box. It is the first gift he opens. It is so thoughtful that he is remembered every year on his special day," says his mom.
As Max enters into weeks of chemo for medulloblastoma, we sent his family a Movie & Pizza Night package for a calm and safe night at home with his family. His mom said, "A special thank you from our family for the recent treats in the mail. We enjoyed a low key pizza and movie night at home!
