We are so excited to be less than five days away from our Inaugural Ohio 5K/1-Mile Walk on September 11th!  

Presented by our top sponsor, Lower.com, the race will be held at Lower.com Field, the home of the 2020 Major League Soccer Cup Champions, The Columbus Crew. In early September, Casey Cares kids attended Crew games with their families!

Whether you plan to run or walk, Casey Cares 5K is an excellent corporate teambuilding activity, family event, or fun a way for you to give back to your community and help critically ill children and their families! The chip-timed 3.1-mile run/1-mile walk is emceed by Brandon Boxer, the radio host for The Boxer Show on iHeartRadio. Participants can also enjoy post-game refreshments and play giant lawn games such as Jenga and Connect4. Awards for the largest team, most spirited team, top fundraising team, and more will be given out!

Casey Cares has been serving Central Ohio families for almost a decade. Thanks to generous donations, we have provided 5,322 activities to 27,914 participants since we began giving programs to Ohio families. In 2022, we have provided 812 activities to 3,799 participants in Ohio. In total, we have celebrated 865 Ohio kids’ birthdays...124 this year!
