With school closed on President’s Day, Casey Cares spent the day with nearly 150 critically ill children and their family members at the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum in Baltimore.
The families enjoyed a unique scavenger hunt at the group party. Phoenix Sales & Marketing volunteers handed out clues that directed them to different exhibits in the museum. After the scavenger hunt, the families feasted on lunch generously provided by Chick-fil-A.
Hosted bi-monthly, Caring Connection parties are one of Casey Cares' six programs which allow families to surround themselves with much-needed support while taking part in fun group activities.
“Our kids love visiting Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum in Baltimore!” said Casey Baynes, the founder and executive director of Casey Cares. “It’s a wonderful way for them to escape the routine of doctor’s visits and medical treatments and enjoy just having fun!”
