Thanks to generous donors, Casey Cares sent out 75 tickets to our critically ill children and their families to see CoComelon LIVE! at The Lyric Baltimore.
Casey Cares kids Jacob and Re’My experienced a toe-tapping, fun-filled journey through the world of CoComelon with JJ and other characters!
Jacob is diagnosed with cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus which is a build-up of fluid in the cavities deep within the brain. The evening at CoComelon was full of singing and dancing for him and his family. Since joining Casey Cares last year, Jacob has received pajamas, visited the Maryland Science Center, and more!
You may have seen a smiling Re’My on Casey Cares’ social media – she and her family attended a recent Baltimore Ravens preseason game. Yet at CoComelon, not only was it special for Re’My to enjoy the evening away from biliary atresia (a blockage of the bile ducts from the liver) treatment, her parents and siblings also got to join for some special quality time together.
Your donation of tickets to special events like this gives our families a chance to spend time together outside of treatment. You can donate too – email tickets to Erin at Erin@caseycaresfoundation.org. This year, Casey Cares will support over 1,300 families in the Mid-Atlantic region, Ohio, Florida, and Washington D.C.
