A huge thank you goes out to everyone who attended our 13th Annual 5K Run/1-Mile Walk! We were glad it was a warm morning at the Maryland Zoo and it was wonderful seeing an incredible turnout of more than 400 particpants!

We were happy to have the return of WJZ sportscaster Mark Viviano who emceed the event. A Casey Cares mother, Gina Truesdale, shared the journey of her child Abraham “Hammy” Scrivner, and the creation of the Hammie’s Heart Program within Casey Cares. Our race raised over $45,000 for our critically ill children and programs! With these critical funds, Casey Cares can fulfill our mission to provide more smiles and fun activities for families this year such as tickets to sporting events or a pizza and movie night. We cannot wait to see you again next year!
