There are many opportunities to give back during the holiday season.
The Casey Cares Holiday Giving program encourages co-workers, employers, family, and friends to combine their individual donations and sponsor our unique programs for critically ill children and their families.
Having an impact on local families should be personal, enjoyable and easy! We recognize that every business/firm/corporation has its own culture, and we will work with you to come up with exactly what works for your company.
Last year, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company collected donations from theatergoers during the month of December. They raised more than $5,700. They were also kind enough to invite Casey Cares families to enjoy their production of “A Christmas Carol.”
"In the spirit of the story, we wanted to offer our audiences the opportunity to be generous to the real Tiny Tims of our own community," said actress Molly Moores.
Homeside Financial took a different approach. The company pledged to match our Holiday Giving donations up to $15,000. They also took advantage of our customized fundraising pages and ultimately raised more than $17,500.
Oxford Risk Management also utilized our customized fundraising pages. By setting a goal and using a very personal approach in their ask, the company was able to raise more than $7,500.
TEKsystems, Allegis Group, and Aerotek designed giving trees. Employees contributed gift cards and monetary donations to help make lasting memories for our families.
“The giving tree gave us an opportunity to have our employees select ornaments that helped them connect with Casey Cares children and their holiday wishes. They got the chance to play a small role in making their holiday special,” said Faith Johnson, Vice President of Human Resources at TEKsystems, Inc.
