A special treat for special mothers! Casey Cares Foundation moms and kiddos were treated to a Mother’s Day Tea Party at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel in their Whitehall Ballroom. While all moms deserve special treatment on Mother’s Day,  the moms, aunts, grandmothers, and maternal figures of critically ill children in Casey Cares programs deserve some extra pampering! With much of their time devoted to caring for their child's multiple specialist appointments, doctors’ visits, and hospital stays, mothers are also taking care of the child's siblings.

Close to 100 participants spent the morning munching on tasty brunch items and making paper flowers!

“We really enjoy doing this event and making these moms feel special because they truly are remarkable in their ability to juggle so many day-to-day challenges. On Mother’s Day, we want to treat them to some delicious brunch offerings and also an opportunity to meet each other in a more relaxing atmosphere. This is our fourth year partnering with Casey Cares and we know it makes a difference,” said Richard Bruant, General Manager for Royal Sonesta Harbor Court.
