Touchdown! Thanks to the generosity of the Baltimore Ravens and Ravens Community, dozens Casey Cares critically ill children, their siblings, and other family members enjoyed a sunny afternoon watching the Baltimore Ravens football team training camp from their own private area in Ownings Mills! Afterwards, the families got to meet with players like Justin Tucker, Roquan Smith, and Jordan Stout and get their autographs!
Katherine, the mother to Casey Cares kiddo Marybeth, brought her son Brian to the training camp!
"Our experience was totally amazing. Really one-of-a-kind! Our boy is an aspiring athlete, and we are so grateful to have this opportunity to meet and greet with star athletes. How generous of [Ravens player] Geno Stone to give our boy his practice gloves! And so much words of encouragement from [Kyle] Hamilton to never give up! Thank you so much Casey Cares and to the donor and hoping we could do this again next year. Another unforgettable experience on the books for the family. It takes a lot of energy and work to keep Marybeth, our transplant kiddo alive and this experience was such a wonderful distraction from our reality," she says.
