12th Annual Swing-A-Thon Brings Movie Nights to 341 Casey Cares Families
The 12th annual Swing-A-Thon brought supporters together at 39 Minute Workout for a day of movement, generosity and community. Thanks to everyone who participated and donated, the event raised funds that will provide 341 Casey Cares families with an at-home movie and pizza night kit, including gift cards for pizza and streaming services.
For families caring for a child with a critical illness, an evening together can offer a welcome break from appointments and uncertainty. Casey Cares mom J’amie and her 8-year-old daughter Fallon joined us at the event to share their story. J’amie described how quickly life changed for their family: within three weeks, Fallon went from being fully healthy to barely able to walk. Fallon also took a moment to thank everyone who came out.
We swing for children like Fallon and for the little moments their families can share together.
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Swing-A-Thon possible. We are especially grateful to David and Abby Beares for continuing to host the event and support Casey Cares. Another thanks to Catherine Chapman for helping to organize the event. Your generosity will help 341 families make lasting memories, one movie night at a time.
