Ten-year-old McKinley has faced her battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with incredible courage and grace. After being diagnosed in June 2022, she underwent intensive treatments and a bone marrow transplant at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where her determination and bright spirit inspired everyone around her.
Since joining Casey Cares later that year, McKinley and her family have found comfort and joy in moments that let them breathe, smile, and just be together — from movie and pizza nights to celebrating with a special birthday surprise, and an unforgettable day at Monster Jam filled with laughter and excitement.
