Your Impact
When Micah was just a baby, his family learned he had congenital muscular dystrophy due to LAMA2, a rare condition that affects his muscles and makes everyday tasks a little harder. Since his diagnosis in 2017, Micah has shown incredible strength and resilience through every hospital visit and therapy session at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Children’s Center.
Since joining Casey Cares in 2018, Micah and his family have shared joyful moments that remind them they’re not alone: from visiting the children’s museum, exploring the zoo, and marveling at sea life at the aquarium, to simply spending quality time together away from medical routines.
Every ticket purchased helps make stories like Micah’s possible — creating comfort, connection, and joy for children with critical illnesses and the families who love them.
