Get Ready to Run, Walk, and Make an Impact!

The countdown is on! In just two months, supporters from across the community will come together for the 17th Annual Casey Cares 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk on August 1st, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Whether you’re an experienced runner, casual walker, or simply looking for a fun way to support a great cause, this family-friendly event is the perfect opportunity to make a difference while enjoying a memorable morning with friends, family, and fellow Casey Cares supporters.

Every step taken helps Casey Cares provide ongoing, uplifting programs for families with critically ill children. From hospital care packages and special family outings to meals, birthday surprises, and moments of joy during difficult times, your participation helps create Little Moments, Lasting Memories for the families we serve.

Participants in the chip-timed 5K run or 1-mile walk will receive a race bib, finisher medal, and commemorative tech t-shirt (register by July 17 to guarantee your shirt). Gather your friends, coworkers, classmates, and family members to create a team and compete for awards including Largest Team, Most Spirited Team, and Top Fundraising Team.

Want to make a day of it? Participants and guests can purchase discounted Maryland Zoo admission tickets for just $15 per person and enjoy the exhibits after the race.

Registration is open now through August 1st, and both individuals and teams are encouraged to sign up. We are looking forward to celebrating with our incredible Casey Cares community and making this year’s event our biggest and most impactful yet!
