A Night of Smiles for Eli at the Orioles Game
For 13-year-old Eli, a recent night at an Orioles game was filled with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Eli is currently battling Hodgkins lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system, and was diagnosed on March 27th of this year. Just days later, Eli and his family joined the Casey Cares family for support during such a difficult time.
Recently, Casey Cares had the joy of sending Eli and his family to cheer on the Orioles together for a special evening away from treatments and hospital visits. Eli proudly dressed in his Orioles gear and soaked in every moment of the experience, even making an appearance on the Jumbotron during the game!
After the outing, Eli’s mom shared, “Thank you, thank you!!! This was such a lovely experience!! Eli dressed up in his Orioles gear and even made the Jumbotron!”
At Casey Cares, we are honored to help create little moments and lasting memories for children like Eli and their families during their medical journeys. Experiences like these provide families with a chance to simply enjoy time together and focus on making happy memories when they are needed most.
