Casey Cares Expands to a National Organization
For more than 25 years, the Casey Cares Foundation has been walking alongside families facing the unimaginable realities of childhood critical illness. What began as a local effort to bring comfort and normalcy to children during the hardest moments of their lives has grown into something far bigger, and today, we are proud to share that Casey Cares is now a national organization.
This expansion marks an important milestone, but more importantly, it represents something deeply meaningful: more families supported, more moments of joy created, and more children reminded that they are not alone, no matter where they live.
Across the country, families navigating serious childhood illness face similar challenges: long hospital stays, interrupted routines, emotional and financial stress, siblings who feel overlooked, and parents who rarely get a moment to rest. At Casey Cares, our mission has always been to step in where life feels overwhelming and provide consistent, compassionate support that helps families feel connected, seen, and cared for over time.
By expanding nationally, we are extending that same family-centered model to communities far beyond our original impact. Families now have access to programs that bring moments of normalcy into difficult seasons, whether that’s a cozy pair of pajamas during a hospital stay, a family movie night at home, a birthday celebration, a special outing, or a chance to simply pause and enjoy time together away from medical settings.
