Casey Cares Families Celebrate the Holiday Weekend with a Special Blue Angels Experience
As families across the country prepare to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend, seven Casey Cares families had the opportunity to kick off the holiday with an unforgettable patriotic experience.
Last Friday, Casey Cares families gathered at Martin State Airport to welcome the U.S. Navy Blue Angels back from rehearsal with a very special cheering squad. The excitement was felt the moment the planes arrived, as our kiddos and their families watched in awe and cheered on the incredible Blue Angels team.
After the rehearsal, families were able to ask questions, take photos, and spend time meeting the Blue Angels. For our kiddos, it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment filled with excitement, smiles, and lasting memories.
Experiences like this are at the heart of Casey Cares’ mission. For families caring for critically ill children, these special moments offer a chance to step away from the stress of medical treatments and everyday challenges and simply enjoy time together.
As we head into the Fourth of July weekend, we are especially grateful for the service, dedication, and generosity of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. A huge thank you to the Blue Angels for taking the time to welcome our families and make this day so meaningful. These are the little moments that create lasting memories for critically ill children and their families.
