Jordan’s Eagles Dreams Come True
Eight-year-old Jordan, a proud Delaware native, has faced more challenges in his young life than many do in a lifetime. Living with Cystic Fibrosis, his health journey recently brought him and his family to Tampa, where he is receiving specialized treatment. Even though he’s far from home, his love for the Philadelphia Eagles had stayed the same.
Jordan’s journey to the Eagles game began in the most unexpected way: through his schoolwork. For a writing assignment, he imagined what it would be like to visit the Eagles’ stadium, make a live TV appearance, and even meet Jalen Hurts. When his mom shared the assignment with Casey Cares, our team knew right away this was more than just homework, it was a wish waiting to be granted.
This past Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, that dream came to life. Jordan and his family watched the Eagles take on the Buccaneers from incredible seats, soaking in every moment of excitement. While the experience may not have included a TV interview or a meet-and-greet with Jalen just yet, the joy on Jordan’s face proved that his imagination and reality had beautifully come together.
At Casey Cares, we believe every child deserves these little moments that make a big difference. Jordan’s story is a reminder of the power of community, kindness, and the joy that comes from making dreams come true.
Because of your support, we’re able to create experiences like this for critically ill children and their families every day. Together, we’re proving that love and generosity can turn even the simplest wish into a lasting memory.
